‘’Great things start from little beginnings. Before GEDA, I was in a rut. This fellowship gave me clarity on my organization and overall programs. I was recently announced a 2021 Cartier Fellow, one of the biggest fellowships in the world and this program, gave me the knowledge I needed to scale this process. I gained immensely from the wealth of knowledge in the room’’
Dr Yetunde Ayo-Oyalowo
Founder, Market Doctors
‘’No learning is a waste and the GEDA program was a springboard for me and it helped me stand out in my understanding of the issues and uniquely positioned my project. Shortly after this program, I was selected among the 40 female entrepreneurs for the future females business school by the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub. I was the best 40 YALI Alumni across Africa for the YALI Alumini Market Place. I received the Vice-President, Yemi Osibanjo’s awards. Above all, I was featured by the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center at the Newyork Timesquare. I will recommend this bootcamp anyday.’’ Thank you DFA

‘’Prior to this program, we had never accessed any grants even after several years as a nonprofit. 12 weeks into this program, we accessed over $300,000 in funds from a leading foundation and I have gone on to train over 6000 women and girls from marginalized communities. Providing them with business grants, trainings and financial inclusion for themselves and their families. Special thanks to DFA for their consistent handholding during this program’’.

''I want to thank DFA for 12 weeks of learning. It has been an incredible time. After attending the last class about grant and proposal writing, I have just received a grant as a 3rd runner up for Global Engagement Summit 2022. Thank you so much for the amazing season of immersive learning''
