Over 3000 applications were received from changemakers across 30 African countries for the fifth cohort of Donors for Africa Foundation, GEDA Fellowship program 2023. The final pitch, which forms part of the African competition, will see three finalists from 12 semi-finalists across seven categories compete for grants, expert feedback, and long-term connections. The list of finalists includes NGOs and Social Enterprises from South Africa, Uganda, and Nigeria.
Each finalist will be granted 5 minutes to pitch, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with expert judges with development experience in the finalist’s category. The winner will take home a cash prize, media visibility, features, technical expert support, 1-year unpaid membership by Humentum, and loads of other awards.
The finalists for the 2023 GEDA Pitch Competition are:

Ibrahim Mutyaba, Founder, Mobiklinic, Uganda
Chioma Ukpabi, Founder, Skill Up With Kahdsole (SUWK), Nigeria
